Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw also known by her stage name Elizabeth Alice MacGraw has been a model, actor and advocate for animal rights in America. Ali MacGraw is famous for films such as Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. Her desire to be an artist was in part influenced by her upbringing within a New York family of artists. She started as a photography assistant and later moved into modeling and acting. Her name was highlighted in her two first films and was awarded the Golden Globe Award for Most Popular Newcomer. Her film MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was a huge hit that brought fame to the world, as well as an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. She was named the best female box-office actress in the globe after just three films. In Grauman's Chinese Theater, in 1972, she had her signature and hand-footprints engraved. Other credits include The Getaway Convoy Players, the miniseries on TV The Winds of War and others. Moving Pictures, her 1991 autobiography was published. MacGraw's been married three different occasions.
