Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise has been a performer, writer, and actress in America for the past forty years. She is most famous because of her portrayal as Ginger Grant (in the 60s TV show Gilligan's Island). The actress began her career in stage shows during the 1950s beginning by performing in Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. She continued to perform in various Broadway productions, before becoming big on the national theatre scene with Li'l Abner's in 1957. In the same year, she recorded her first album, It's the Time for Tina. Louise began the first phase of her Hollywood career in 1958, in which she portrayed Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre a dramatic film. It was a huge success and Louise was awarded an award called the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. She enrolled in Actors Studio, New York during this period and became Lee Strasberg's teacher. The next role she starred in was from 1964, when she was signed by CBS for the role of Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise was a success in Hollywood and Broadway as a somber character in order to dispel her image as a glamour doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1 and Sanctuary but she also was a successful television director with various series like Supernatural & The 100. She was born in Essex on the 28th of August, 1965. She and her family moved to Toronto at the age of three where she subsequently spent her childhood and adolescence. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 for the part and has remained to Toronto since then.
